Learning Plan
-
Outline Your Goals and Objectives for your Entire College Experience
-
When you divide your learning plan into short duration timelines you can use divisions such as semester or quarters, or other natural divisions, to divide a year into workable and doable segments.
-
-
Set SMART (specific, measurable, attainable, realistic and timely) goals
-
You will be able to come up with a detailed learning plan using the tools of SMART goals.
-
-
Find a mentor or support system for accountability and guidance, if you haven't already done so.
-
When one engages a social network or person to support, guide and encourage, the chance of success increases dramatically. That's a primary role of traditional education. We have to create it.
-
-
Set up a learning plan meeting with your mentor and/or learning network peers.
-
Always set deadlines for evaluation of your plan including reflection and consultation with mentors and/or peer learners
